The Huntley Christie Award of Excellence was established in 2011, to honour and commemorate the rich legacy of the late, Dr. Huntley Palmer Christie, former local government adminstrator of the North Andros and Berry Islands districts, veteran educator for over four decades, justice of the peace, community activist, poet, author, radio-host, lay pastor , visionary and  nationalist. 

 

The award of excellence is given annually to the the valedictorian or salutorian of The Huntley Christie High School, North Andros.  The 2026 award recipient and valedictorian of The Huntley Christie High School, is Miss Azariah Pratt, North Andros. We salute Miss Pratt for her academic achievements and wish her continued success in all of her future endeavours.
